Podcasts in Quanta
Listen to a chapter, check difficult passages in the script and answer questions afterwards. Connect these steps in Quanta, starting from your study material.
After signing in, find podcasts in your dashboard. AI features are available with Essential and Performance within their allowances; personal recordings are also available with Starter.
To create a study podcast from a PDF in Quanta, select the material and section, review the script and then start audio creation. AI creation and narration depend on your plan, permissions and the allowances shown before you start.
Choose a PDF or saved learning material and define the section you need. What matters is the content actually available, rather than the file name alone.
Edit the script and check chapters, terms, numbers and conditions before requesting an audio version.
Start audio creation from the confirmed script with one or two voices. Available options and account allowances are checked before the job starts.
Keep studying with selected sections, flashcards or multiple-choice questions. The relevant creation permissions and allowances still apply.
First decide what you want to explain or answer after listening. A short episode about one chapter is easier to check against its source than a recording meant to summarize an entire course without a clear selection.
Choose understanding, reviewing, comparing or testing yourself in Quanta. Automatic presentation recommends a format; your explicit choice of format and speaker count takes priority.
Quanta connects available source passages with the study content. For PDFs, this depends on which pages and content can actually be read. Diagrams, formulas and unclear scans require particular attention.
A source reference shows what a statement is based on. It does not independently establish that the source is correct, complete or current. Even a fluent script can misrepresent a term or relationship.
A topic or web link can also be an entry point. Usable sources and appropriate rights must be available. A publicly accessible webpage does not automatically permit every form of reuse; supplying a link does not guarantee that all its content can be included.
AI narration supports German, English and Hebrew with selectable voices. Language, voices and speaker count belong to the relevant version. Each new audio version uses a specific script revision; later text edits do not silently change existing audio.
Pay particular attention to numbers, units, negations, names and formulas. Technical comparisons can expose differences between the script and recognition output. Speech recognition can itself be wrong and does not replace listening to the result.
Target lengths such as 3, 7 or 12 minutes help plan the content. Actual duration and pronunciation may differ. A complete manuscript you provide is not silently shortened to meet a target duration.
You can also use personal recordings and audio imports. Transcription requires a separate processing action. Captions appear only when suitable timing information bound to that audio is available.
Podcasts are available in the Quanta dashboard. The actions you can use depend on your plan or institutional permissions and the limits shown in your account.
For personal accounts, AI scripts and narration are available with Essential and Performance. With Starter, you can create personal recordings within the applicable limits. AI scripts, narration, transcription and further study items each follow their relevant allowances; free registration does not promise unlimited AI usage.
Institutional accounts retain their existing roles, grants and budgets. Eligible teachers can create AI podcasts and explicitly share episodes with learners. Learners can use personal recordings and podcasts shared by teachers; this does not give them independent access to AI script creation or narration.
The actions available in your account and the limits shown before each job determine access. Releasing the feature does not remove plan, role, source or budget restrictions.
